In late august Team Substantial loaded up the subies and headed straight north to northern BC. The grand canyon of the Stikine is known for some of the most substantial whitewater on planet earth. With a great crew, perfect flows, and sunny skies the crew set off on the most substantial whitewater multi-day ever. It was a perfect set-up for good times, brown lines, and the first descent of Site Zed by Benny Marr, the only previously un-run rapid on the whole river. After a spirtitual and successful descent the boys cruised back to some of BC’s most classic runs such as Ashlu Box, Tatlow Creek, and Fear Canyon of the Elaho.
